In a world often shrouded in darkness and despair, there’s a beacon of hope that shines brighter than any earthly light – the promises of God.
But how do we tap into these promises and see them manifest in our lives and communities? The answer lies in a profound spiritual principle: divine agreement between Heaven and Earth.
Imagine a church that isn’t just a building, but a house of miracles.
Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen Jesus do glorious miracles:
A man using hearing aids for the last four years could hear 100% after Jesus healed him.
A woman with 15+ years of tormenting pain in most of her joints due to arthritis was suddenly healed and pain-free.
A man was powerfully touched by God’s presence and was healed from an auto-immune disease as an evil spirit left him.
A visitor to our church on Sunday who had incessant pain for two years in his shoulder was miraculously healed during prayer by simply being in the venue. No one touched him, but Jesus did!
Numerous other beautiful events unfolded as Jesus, the Miracler-Worker, touched lives and led many to dedicate their lives to Christ as Saviour.
The church has always been destined to be a House of Miracles. A place where lives are transformed, bodies are healed, and souls are set free. This isn’t a far-fetched dream; it’s God’s plan for His people.
But to see this reality, we must understand a fundamental truth: In Christ, every promise of God is “Yes,” and through Him, we utter our “Amen” to the glory of God (2 Corinthians 1:19-20).
This divine “Yes and Amen” is the key that unlocks the floodgates of Heaven.
God says “Yes” to His promises, and we respond with a faith-filled “Amen.” It’s this agreement that releases the miraculous power of God into our world.
But here’s the catch – our “Amen” can’t be an empty word or a half-hearted assent. It must be rooted in revelation, empowered by impartation, and demonstrated through action.
Faith explodes within us when we genuinely grasp who God is and what His will entails. We receive a divine impartation of God’s faith and grace, igniting a holy fire in our souls.
From this place of revelation and impartation, we step out in bold demonstration of our faith.
Consider the story of the Israelites in Egypt. For generations, they groaned under the burden of slavery. But God heard their cries, and He remembered His covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It was time to act (Exodus 2:23-25).
This wasn’t just a historical event; it’s a prophetic picture of God’s heart for His people today.
Just as God moved with mighty wonders to free the Israelites, He’s ready to move on our behalf. He’s poised to strike the spiritual “Egypts” in our lives – the bondages, the sicknesses, the oppression – with all His wonders.
But here’s the crucial part: we must align ourselves with His promises and purposes.
God’s promises aren’t just a safety net for when we fall; they’re the solid ground we stand on so we don’t have to fall.
When we trust in these promises, we’re not just accepting a truth; we’re embracing a lifestyle of faith that alters our reality. Fear transforms into faith, despair into hope, and weakness into strength.
But let’s be clear – this isn’t about a watered-down, feel-good message. The true Gospel isn’t about affirming us in our current state; it’s about rescuing us, transforming us, and redirecting us. It’s a powerful force confronting the darkness head-on, just as Moses confronted Pharaoh with divine signs and wonders.
A house of miracles must have the Gospel of salvation at its core. It’s not enough to assume everyone is saved or to offer empty words of comfort. We must speak the truth in love, revealing to people their actual spiritual state and pointing them to the only One who can save them – Jesus Christ.
When God moves, He doesn’t do things halfway. He promised the Israelites that He would not only free them but also give them favour and allow them to plunder their oppressors (Exodus 3:20-22).
In the same way, when we step into agreement with God’s promises, we can expect to see His judgement on demonic powers, His favour on our lives, and a spiritual plundering of the enemy’s camp.
This isn’t just an Old Testament concept. In Christ, we have a new and better covenant.
Every Old Testament promise is available to us in Christ, amplified by His death and resurrection, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. God is still in the business of doing “awesome things”.
And He said: “Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you. (Exodus 34:10)
However, with great promise comes great responsibility. Just as God instructed the Israelites to destroy the altars of false gods in the Promised Land (Exodus 34:11-13), we too must be vigilant.
We must tear down the idols in our hearts, resist the temptation to compromise with the world, and maintain our commitment to purity and power.
Remember, only a dead man can carry the living God. We must die to our love for the world if we want to see the fullness of God’s power manifested in and through us.
So, what does this mean for us today? It means we have a choice.
We can settle for a powerless, cognitive faith that merely goes through the motions, or we can press into the promises of God with our whole hearts. We can give a lukewarm “amen” to God’s “yes,” or we can align ourselves fully with Heaven’s purposes, becoming conduits for divine miracles on Earth.
The promise of a “house of miracles” – a church walking in the fullness of God’s power – is available to us.
But it requires more than passive agreement. It demands active participation in God’s covenant. It calls for a people who will stand on God’s promises, be transformed by them, and step out in faith to see them fulfilled.
As we embrace this divine agreement between Heaven and Earth, we position ourselves to see the impossible become possible.
Healing becomes not just a hope but an expectation. Freedom from bondage becomes a reality. The power to see souls saved and lives transformed becomes our everyday experience.
So, let us rise up and take hold of God’s promises. Let us respond to His resounding “Yes” with a faith-filled “Amen.” And as we do, may we see a flood of miracles that will cause the world to marvel at the greatness and glory of our God.
Are you ready to step into this divine agreement? Are you prepared to see God’s promises manifest in your life and community?
The choice is yours.
Heaven is saying “Yes.” How will you respond?
